“Little Jun Ji Hyun” Kim Do Yeon will play the child days of actress Jun Ji Hyun in the anticipated drama Cliffhanger.
According to News1, Kim Do Yeon recently finished filming her part in tvN’s new drama Cliffhanger. The role she took on is the childhood days of the main character Seo Yi Gang (played by Jun Ji Hyun). As she was dubbed “little Jun Ji Hyun” because of her cool features, tall height, and chic charm from her debut, the fact that she plays Jun Ji Hyun’s younger days became a hot topic.
Kim Do Yeon debuted as a member of I.O.I in 2016 and now is promoting under her new group Weki Meki. Recently, she started expanding her career as an actor by appearing in the web drama Pop Out Boy! and her new drama My Roommate Is a Gumiho will air soon.
Meanwhile, Cliffhanger is a mystery drama that will tell the story of people who climb through the mysterious and unexplored regions of Korea’s Mount Jiri. The drama is helmed and penned by Goblin and Mr. Sunshine director Lee Eung Bok and Kingdom writer Kim Eun Hee. Jun Ji Hyun, Ju Ji Hoon, Sung Dong Il, Oh Jung Se, and more will star the project.
