iKON’s Bobby will put a halt to his solo activities.
On the 10th, YG Entertainment announced that iKON’s Bobby has decided to suspend all promo activities for his second full-length solo album which was originally scheduled to be till the end of February.
Bobby expressed that he wants to focus more on the team as iKON is set to make a full comeback in March and for Mnet’s survival program Kingdom in April. “After taking Bobby’s opinions into account, we officially decided to bring an end to his solo activities which were scheduled to be until the end of February, on the 10th,” YG Ent. stated.
Bobby released his second full-length album Lucky Man on April 25th and has been promoting it since. However, iKON’s comeback in March has come one step closer, and in order to focus more on preparing and practicing for the Kingdom stages, Bobby has decided to halt his solo activities.
The rapper also revealed through the company saying, “I want to join other members who are sweating out practicing every day, to present a wonderful stage that will surprise everyone.”
With their comeback in March, iKON will start filming for their new music video this week. The group will also greet viewers in April through Mnet’s Kingdom. As they make their first appearance on Mnet in 5 years, and it is their first external competition program apart from YG’s own survival program, iKON is garnering a lot of attention.
