Rapper Lee Young Ji warned netizens of the people who are faking to be the production team of The Adventures of Young-Ji.
“Someone is impersonating The Adventures of Young-Ji,” wrote Lee Young Ji on her Instagram story on February 6th.
In the captured photo it was written, “This is the person in charge of the YouTube channel The Adventures of Young-Ji. Congratulations on being the additional winner of the contest! If you add us on the KakaoTalk channel and contact us via the channel, we will help you with the product payment process.”
However, this is not actually from the production crew of The Adventures of Young-Ji. Regarding this, Lee Young Ji explained, “the people asking for your KakaoTalk ID, and password through emails claiming that you won the event are fraudulent; they are not our The Adventures of Young-Ji team. Please be careful.”
She also expressed her discomfort by saying that “Everyone who has been contacted about the win just now has all been contacted by fake accounts. I don’t know who’s doing this, but don’t do this.”
At the same time, the YouTube channel The Adventures of Young-Ji announced that they made the comments private to protect everyone’s valuable personal information. “We will notify everyone about the event separately through the community. The Adventures of Young-Ji would never request you to subscribe to other channels, so we ask you to be careful with fraudulent messages.”
The Adventures of Young-Ji, in which Lee Young Ji hosts, earlier held a subscriber event as they ended the season. Though it was an event to participate with YouTube comments, it is currently halted after such issues have arisen.
