Yoo Seung Ho has been offered to take the lead in the new KBS romance historical drama When Flowers Bloom, I Think of the Moon (literal title).
An official from the actor’s agency StoryJCompany told YTN Star, “Yoo Seung Ho was offered the male lead in KBS’s new drama When Flowers Bloom, I Think of the Moon and is reviewing it.”
When Flowers Bloom, I Think of the Moon depicts the love and lust against the backdrop of the most powerful prohibition (no drinking of any form of alcohol) era in Joseon history.
The drama will revolve around a Saheonbu (Office of the Inspector-General) inspector who wants to achieve fame and prestige and restore his family name, a daughter of a poor yangban (the traditional ruling class or gentry of Joseon dynasty) family who started making wine for the money, and the royal prince who climbs over the wall to have a drink outside the palace. How will these three people unfold their intertwined fate in front of a hidden wine cellar?
The role Yoo Seung Ho has been offered is Nam Young. Nam Young has a handsome appearance, persistent efforts to support his intelligence, and ambition to achieve fame and prestige. The only downside in his life is his lacking family.
When Flowers Bloom, I Think of the Moon aims to premiere in the second half of this year.
