EXO’s D.O Officially Discharged Today + His Comeback Project Will Be Director Kim Yong Hwa’s New Film

EXO’s D.O (Do Kyung Soo) will officially be returning to his fans’ side today.

According to SM Entertainment, D.O will be discharged today without returning to the base in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19. No separate events have been scheduled.

D.O, who joined the army in July 2019, served as a military cook in the Capital Mechanized Infantry Division. He has also participated in the army musical Return: The Promise of the Day and continued his acting career.

With this, D.O became the second EXO member to complete his military duty.

The news of his discharge was first announced three months ago when the production company confirmed D.O’s appearance in Along with the Gods director Kim Yong Hwa’s new film The Moon. The film tells the story of a man left alone in space due to an unfortunate accident while another man on Earth struggles to bring him back safely.
