The Gaon Chart Music Awards is on Wednesday, January 13th, at 7 pm. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the most prestigious chart awards ceremony in Korea. Gaon Chart and the K-POP platform Amazer decided to broadcast on Wednesday, January 13th at 7 pm Pacific Standard Time (PST) for K-POP fans all over the globe.
Since the awards ceremony airs at 7 pm in Korea’s Standard Time (KST), which is 2 am to 7 am in Central and South America, Amazer decided to air the awards ceremony at 7 pm (PST). Amazer will also provide real-time English subtitles for global fans to increase the convenience of users.

There will be no extra charge for viewing The Gaon Chart Music Awards. Mnet will live broadcast the awards for Korean fans, while overseas fans can enjoy the ceremony in real-time through Gaon Chart’s YouTube channel if they prefer so.
96% of Amazers users are from overseas. North and Latin American users account for a high proportion, so making such a decision avoids duplicate transmissions and allows K-POP fans worldwide to view the awards more conveniently.
Meanwhile, the Gaon Chart Music Awards will air for about two hours. Super Junior’s Leeteuk and Lia of ITZY are hosting the show for two consecutive years. The ceremony is known to focus more on the awards ceremony without music performances.
