Netflix original series Sweet Home is gaining popularity both at home and abroad in the second week of its release. Today, the show ranked at No. 3 on Top TV Shows in the US Netflix.
According to FlixPatrol, Sweet Home blasted into No. 3 in the daily ranking of Top TV Shows in the US Netflix on Dec 25. Originally debuted at No. 8, the show rose up the rank quickly to No. 7 and No. 5 within the next two weeks and finally landed at No. 3 on Christmas.
Sweet Home is enjoying an increase in popularity around the world, maintaining its spot within the Top 10 in Europe, North America, South America and Asia. The show topped the chart in 11 countries, including Korea, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, Chile, Malaysia, Peru and Taiwan.
Starring Song Kang, Lee Jin Wook, Lee Si Young and Lee Do Hyun, Sweet Home tells a bizarre and shocking story that a loner high school student Hyun Soo experiences in an apartment that he moved into after losing his family. It is based on a thriller webtoon of the same name published in Naver Webtoon that garnered 1.2 billion views.
