Nam Joo Hyuk and Han Ji Min’s Josee (literal title) will be released in December.
According to a media outlet, Josee confirmed its release on December 10 and is currently preparing for the upcoming schedules.
Josee is a remake of the popular 2004 Japanese film Josee, the Tiger and the Fish, directed by Isshin Inudo. The Table and Worst Woman director Kim Jong Wan has directed the remake film and Nam Joo Hyuk and Han Ji Min took the lead roles.
The original story about Josee, a girl with a disability who gets around by being pushed in a stroller by her grandmother, and her bittersweet romance with college student Tsuneo has been adapted to match the Korean culture.
The film officially finished all filmings in January but indefinitely postponed its release due to the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, as Warner Bros. Korea recently decided to withdraw all business from Korea, The Day I Died: Unclosed Case and Josee confirmed its release by the end of this year. Accordingly, The Day I Died: Unclosed Case will be released on November 12, and Josee will be released on December 10.
