TWICE will release their second full-length album, Eyes wide open.
For the title track, “I CAN’T STOP ME,” leading writers and producers from around the world, including JYP, Shim Eun Jee, Melanie Joy Fontana, Michel ‘Lindgren’ Schulz, have joined hands. The feeling of not being able to control oneself as one stands at the crossroads of good and evil has been mixed with TWICE’s unique retro sound. Besides the title track, a total of 13 tracks – “HELL IN HEAVEN,” “UP NO MORE,” “DO WHAT WE LIKE,” “BRING IT BACK,” “BELIEVER,” “QUEEN,” “GO HARD,” “SHOT CLOCK,” “HANDLE IT,” “DEPEND ON YOU,” “SAY SOMETHING,” “BEHIND THE MASK” – are included in the album.
TWICE expressed their feelings about dropping a full-length album after a long time through their label.
Q1. This is your first full-length album after three years.
Nayeon: I am really excited. Since it’s been three years, I want to show how much TWICE has improved.
Momo: It’s a shame that we can’t meet our fans in person, but we really worked hard on it.
Sana: This album will show a new concept that we’ve never tried in our previous albums. I can’t wait to perform on stage.
Q2. If you express “Eyes wide open” in words
Jihyo: We expressed the thrill that you feel after opening your eyes to a new sense.
Q3. What do you want to show through this album?
Sana: We expanded the narrative from MORE & MORE that talks about how we learned the new sense. Please take a close look at the connection between the two albums.
Q4. Explain the title track, “I CAN’T STOP ME. “
Nayeon: We expressed the conflict we have on the boundary between good and evil and how we can’t control ourselves. Like the title, it’s a song that describes how “I can’t stop me.”
Dahyun: It’s a synthwave song that mixes sounds from European electronic music and 80s American synth music. It will stick to your ears once you hear it (laughs).
Q5. How did you feel when you heard about the collaboration with a new group of writers?
Mina, Tzuyu: It was an honor to be working with world-renowned writers.

Q7. What did you pay the most attention to while working on the music video?
Jihyo: I tried to show the retro sensibility of the song in a colorful and fancy way!
Dahyun: I think it will be fun to see various outfits in line with the overall concept and set.
Q8. Is there any comment you heard from JYP while preparing for the comeback?
Nayeon: The producer considers emotional delivery the most important and always emphasizes it. So I practiced hard and sang so that my feelings could be conveyed to the listeners well.
