BLACKPINK is gearing up for their grand comeback.
At 10 a.m. on Sept. 21 KST, YG Entertainment released the “COMING SOON POSTER” on its official blog, drawing keen attention.
In the poster, the back of each member is captured against the backdrop of a rather dark space. Besides the charismatic styling and the release date, information about their upcoming album is still veiled, but the overall atmosphere of BLACKPINK’s signature charisma stands out.
Previously, pre-orders for BLACKPINK’s first full-length album were first tallied at more than 800,000 copies within six days, making headlines. This figure is expected to rise further considering the full-length album’s release schedule, which was about a month away at the time.
Tracks for BLACKPINK’s first full-length album THE ALBUM will be released on Oct. 2 (12 a.m. EST & 1 p.m. KST), and the physical albums will be available at online and offline music stores on Oct. 6. Then on Oct. 14, Netflix original documentary BLACKPINK: Light Up the Sky will also make its debut.
