Red Velvet will be the fourth artist to celebrate BoA’s anniversary through the “Our Beloved BoA” project!
Red Velvet will release “Milky Way” through SM STATION on August 21st. It will be available on global music streaming platforms.
“Milky Way” is a b-side track from BoA’s third full-length album released in 2003. The song, which included BoA’s energetic vocals and refreshing instrumentals, received lots of love as BoA’s representative summer song. SM Entertainment’s “hit-maker” producer KENZIE worked on the original song and remade it into a fresh jazz-pop song for BoA’s anniversary project.
Wendy, who was on hiatus for eight months after an injury, will participate in this project. The colorful acapella and jazz scats that make the harmonious vocals of the five Red Velvet members stand out adds richness to the original song.
