Singer Hwasa shed tears at the news of her mother’s illness.
In the latest episode of MBC’s I Live Alone, which aired on July 17, Hwasa was seen crying upon hearing from her father that her mother was not doing well.
On the day when her solo album Maria was released, Hwasa called her father to hear his responses.
However, when Hwasa’s father said, “I shouldn’t be telling you this. Your mom told me never to tell you this,” Hwasa froze, worrying about what happened in her house.
As soon as she heard what her father said, she covered her eyes with her arm and started crying. It turned out that Hwasa’s mother had to take a CT scan due to her poor health.
“I’ve been neglecting my family and friends because I’ve been preparing for this album,” Hwasa said in an interview. ”I was selfishly thinking about this album. I’m doing all of this to be happy, but I’m missing so many things.“
Fortunately, Hwasa’s mother’s health problem was not something very serious. Hwasa ended her call, trying to lighten the mood, saying, “I’m going to tell on you to mom that you made me cry.”
