[Weekly TV Top 10] ‘The King: Eternal Monarch’ Finishes with No.1 Spot, But It’s Full of Regrets

The King: Eternal Monarch has come to an end. Even with the happy ending, an unfriendly explanation continued, doubling the confusion. Despite the fact that the drama grabbed all attention with the meeting of Lee Min Ho, Kim Go Eun and writer Kim Eun Sook, and the fact that the production cost was nearly 3.2 billion KRW (approx. 2,641,620 USD), it was a lonely exit. Now it’s the question of whether the viewers will welcome the return two other Hallyu stars, Ji Chang Wook and Kim Soo Hyun. Ji Chang Wook will return with romantic comedy Backstreet Rookie, whereas Kim Soo Hyun will come back with healing romance It’s Okay to Not Be Okay. Will they be able to revitalize the small screen, which has been mired in a slump lately?

Kkondae Intern remained in third place for four consecutive weeks with Young Tak’s special appearance, while Kim Soo Hyun’s It’s Okay to Not Be Okay came in fourth, receiving mush attention even before its first broadcast.
