[Weekly TV Top 10] ‘The King: Eternal Monarch’ Finishes with No.1 Spot, But It’s Full of Regrets

The King: Eternal Monarch has come to an end. Even with the happy ending, an unfriendly explanation continued, doubling the confusion. Despite the fact that the drama grabbed all attention with the meeting of Lee Min Ho, Kim Go Eun and writer Kim Eun Sook, and the fact that the production cost was nearly 3.2 billion KRW (approx. 2,641,620 USD), it was a lonely exit. Now it’s the question of whether the viewers will welcome the return two other Hallyu stars, Ji Chang Wook and Kim Soo Hyun. Ji Chang Wook will return with romantic comedy Backstreet Rookie, whereas Kim Soo Hyun will come back with healing romance It’s Okay to Not Be Okay. Will they be able to revitalize the small screen, which has been mired in a slump lately?

Kkondae Intern remained in third place for four consecutive weeks with Young Tak’s special appearance, while Kim Soo Hyun’s It’s Okay to Not Be Okay came in fourth, receiving mush attention even before its first broadcast. • oh my baby the best kdrama… the best… the content is kinda sensitive but the writer present the story in a likeable manner.. the cinematography is so good and with its superb ost.. how i cannot love this drama?..and to top it all the made in heaven chemistry of jang nara and go joon.. they are raining cuteness and sweetness in oh my baby.. go joon is such a revealation to me.. i never knew him before but wow this guy is so manly with his deep sexy voice.. he is so hot.. every scenes of jang nara and go joon gave me so much happiness… i love them so much.

  • Lee Min Ho played as the king in his majestic and charming fashion. He was perfect for the role. he played the role very realistically. I hope to see more of Lee Min Ho on the small screen in the nearest future.

  • Oh My Baby of JangNara & Once Again of LeeSangeib & Lee Mi jung are best drama since start of its broadcast! Having good time watching them😃I dropped TKEM coz its boring, draggy & confusing!!

  • The controversy about Kim Kang Yeol was overblown as it was several years ago and was an accident resulting from him being up on a table, trying to intervene in a “cat fight” and accidentally hit a woman who was standing at a lower level. No charges filed and he took ownership and apologized.

  • Hello writer its “#KimYooJung” in BackstreetRookie not kimsoohyun, ok they are different person… understood!!

  • Why should they criticize the drama for being not properly dressed during an era or something when its a parallel universe not a historical drama, meaning there is no need to compare the outfits as it is a world wherein republic of corea is wealthy country. Those watching it doesn’t understand the drama at all and they are so smart to criticize it.

  • Yeah without a question, The King Eternal Monarch will sat on the 1st place as ‘the king’ 😉 get it(?!)…for me I’ve watched a lot of drama but TKEM is my top drama (it’s going to be hard to budge it cus I loved everything about the drama can’t even describe it in one word nevertheless just one negative) so if you’re talking about full of regrets or low rate…haish don’t even bother bus eiy that’s not accurate (at least for me, and I know I’m not the only one let me tell ya)

  • The king does not deserve to be in the first spot, i acknowledge that the leading actors are good looking but the stories of the drama sucks. It’s too unreal.
It’s okay not to be okay deserve to be in the first place in the coming days.
