Singer Rain and ZICO are positively considering their appearances on the audition grogram I-LAND, a joint venture between CJ ENM and Big Hit Entertainment.
On May 13, Mnet told xsportnews that Rain and ZICO are currently in talks to appear as judges and mentors on I-LAND.
Rain made his debut as a member of Fan Club in 1998 and started his solo career when the group disbanded. He rose to fame in 2002 with his first hit song, “Bad Man.” Since then, he made several hits with “How to Avoid the Sun,” “Instead of Saying Goodbye,” “Rainism” and “It’s Raining.”
ZICO made his debut as a member of the K-POP group Block B in 2011 and has been recognized by the public for his musical abilities. He recently made a big hit with “Any Song” and introduced a new promotional strategy in the K-POP scene.
Now that the two are considering their roles as judges and mentors, the expectations for I-LAND are rising rapidly.
Mnet’s I-LAND will premiere on Mnet in June.
