Apink and VICTON‘s agency, PlayM Entertainment, will launch a new girl group in 2020.
On May 8, PlayM Entertainment announced that the seven-member rookie girl group ‘PlayM GIRLS‘ (tentative name) had confirmed its debut in June. This will be the agency’s first girl group in 10 years following Apink’s debut and their first idol group in about four years following VICTON’s debut.
PlayM Entertainment recently confirmed the members and will soon share the detailed preparation process of the group’s debut, including the release of the members’ profiles along with the official team name.
The potential members have been steadily exposed through audition programs, SNS, and official YouTube. To which, an official of PlayM Entertainment shared, “The interest surrounding PlayM GIRLS before their debut is extraordinary to the point where the group has gone viral among idol fandoms early on. Please pay attention to the debut process of a new girl group that will play a role as a new face of PlayM.”
