On May 1st, BTS Jimin announced on the group’s official Youtube Channel, BANGTANTV, that he will be working as a the music project manager for the group’s upcoming album.

Jimin shared, “We are producing the album ourselves this time so we picked a project manager for different areas, and I took on the role of music project manager. Suga recommended that I do it because he wanted me to get closer with music. I was thankful.”

He continued to share, “I’m not sure yet how I can do more, but I’m working hard so that I can be helpful. As the project manager, I think I’ll organize how the members want to work on the music, what styles of songs they want to do, how they want to form it, and which members will suit which songs and discuss it with our agency.”

Before ending the video, Jimin added, “Organizing these things is more fun than I expected. I feel accomplished that I can organize the members’ thoughts and relay them.”
