SBS’s Running Man will mark its 500th episode on April 26.
Starting its first broadcast on July 11, 2010, Running Man has been running nonstop for 10 years, establishing itself as SBS’s representative entertainment show. Each episode drew a lot of attention with new missions, unpredictable members’ performances and teamwork, and the different guests every week.
In particular, the record of 500 episodes is the longest-running record among all the variety entertainment shows currently on air and the longest-running show in the history of SBS.
Even though they will celebrate its 500th episode, Running Man will feature a quiet self-congratulatory race in consideration of the current social atmosphere due to COVID-19. This upcoming 500th special episode will be a race under the theme of “healthy food” for the members who have been working hard for the past 10 years.
To celebrate the 500th episode, Apink’s Yoon Bomi and Chorong, Chung Ha, Lovelyz’s Mijoo, and Weki Meki’s Yoojung will appear as quests, giving off fresh and lively charms, boosting the atmosphere of the 500th special episode.
