Park Ji Min signed an exclusive contract with Warner Music Korea and changed her stage name to Jamie.
Warner Music Korea stated, “We have signed an exclusive contract with singer Jamie. We saw her strong passion, her infinite potential, and her musical talent in high regard, and we plan on providing her with our fullest support so that she may promote actively as a solo artist.”
As a result, Park Ji Min will changed her name to Jamie, her English name she used since she was a kid, and will make a full leap forward as a solo singer.
Jamie, the winner of SBS’s K-POP Star Season 1, made her debut in 2012 as 15&. Since then, she made a several hits with “I Dream” “Somebody” and “Sugar,” catching the eye and ear with her explosive vocal.
In addition, she has been a host of Arirang TV’s After School Club for the past 7 years, gaining popularity among global K-POP fans.
