He said, “My father has been a huge fan of director Bong Joon Ho for a long time,” and added, “One day when my father was in a sickbed, director Bong Joon Ho called me and said he would show ‘Parasite’ to my father first. Back then, everything was kept hush-hush, so no one was allowed to see the movie.”

“But the director invited my father to a small theater. My father is probably the first person to see ‘Parasite’ among the viewers,” he said, expressing his gratitude for director Bong Joon Ho.

Park Myung Hoon played the role of Geun Sae in Parasite, making a name for himself.

The funeral of Park Myung Hoon’s father will be held in Jung Ang Hospital.
