It has been reported that Bolbbalgan4 is one of many groups who have used chart manipulation to their advantage.
On April 8th, it was announced that a marketing company Creativer used illegal hacking to obtain user IDs to manipulate the charts. Along with Bolbbalgan4, other artists including Song Ha Ye, Young Tak, So Hyang, Lee Gi Kwang, GWSN, and Ali have been reported to have used chart manipulation.
Following the claim, Bolbbalgan4’s agency Shofar Music stated, “We have not used chart manipulation” and “We don’t even know Creativer.” They also added, “We will take legal actions for false accusation and defamation.
