Hwanhee (also known as Hwang Yoon Seok), a member of R&B duo Fly to the Sky, had a minor accident during his drunk driving this morning.

According to Yongin Seobu Police Station, Hwanhee hit a Hyundai Avante sedan that was changing lanes on a road in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, around 6 a.m. on March 21 while driving his Mercedes-Benz. His driving under the influence got busted when an insurance agent dispatched to the scene suspected that Hwanhee had been drinking and reported the accident to police.

After carrying out a breathalyzer test, police found out his blood-alcohol level (0.061 percent), was high enough to get his driver’s license revoked. Hwanhee returned to his home after admitting all of his suspicion of drunk driving, but police is planning to summon and investigate him very soon.

Meanwhile, Hwanhee’s agency H2Media later made a statement through his official fan cafe site to apologize for his drunk driving. “Without an excuse, it’s obviously his fault. He’ll fully comply with the police investigation and accept any punishment. We’re really sorry again for the trouble our artist has caused,” the company said.

Since his debut as a member of Fly to the Sky in 1999, Hwanhee has got also beloved as a solo singer and an actor. Last October, Fly to the Sky released its tenth full-length album Fly High to celebrate the 20th anniversary of its debut.
