During the March 14th episode of JTBC‘s “Traveler 2”, Kang Ha Neul opened up about his struggles with claustrophobia.
The actor explained to his castmates On Seong Wu and Ahn Jae Hong that he suffers from severe claustrophobia, so he has a hard time flying on airplanes. He stated that because of this, he has to get a prescription for sleeping pills in advance.
Kang Ha Neul also expressed how he had been tired from the way of travel throughout the shoot, because aside from airplanes, he does not do well in crowded transportation. The episode showed footages of Kang Ha Neul boarding planes later than other passengers on purpose, and rolling down his windows in cars in order to feel less enclosed.
