According to the exclusive report by Sports Chosun on March 11, multiple officials in the TV drama industry recently revealed that YoonA is positively considering her appearance in Hush. “she is highly expected to create a great chemistry with another lead actor Hwang Jung Min,” the officials said.

Based on the novel A Silence Warning (literally translated) written by Jung Jin Young, Hush is a story about the newspaper journalists who face a dilemma between survival and their own conscience. In her first TV series in three years since MBC‘s historical drama The King in Love (2017), YoonA will play the role of Lee Ji Soo, a new intern reporter who grows up while having trouble in making justice. On the other hand, her counterpart Hwang Jung Min, who also returns to the small screen in eight years since TV CHOSUN‘s Korean Peninsula (2012), will play the role of Han Joon Hyuk, a veteran journalist who started his career to carry through a conviction of justice.

Meanwhile, Hush’s script will be written by Kim Jung Min, while its director hasn’t been confirmed yet. The drama starts shooting within the second half of the year.
