BIG BANG’s T.O.P. Donates To Help Fight the Coronavirus

BIG BANG‘s T.O.P. has also donated a large amount of 100 million won (approximately $84,000 USD) to a non-profit organization called Hope Bridge, in order to help fight against the Coronavirus.

The organization confirmed with the statement, “Through his donation, T.O.P. hopes that he can be of any sort of help, and sends his deepest respect and appreciation to all of the medical staff who are dedicated in helping out with the COVID-19.”

The singer’s donation will be used to aid the efforts in Daegu and Gyeongbuk area, the two places that have the heaviest concentration of Coronavirus cases in South Korea. Hope Bridge stated that they would use the money into purchasing safety equipments for the medical staff and team.

As the case of the Coronavirus have been rising in South Korea, bringing them to the second country with the highest reported cases of the virus, many public figures and celebrities have been donating generous amounts. We sincerely hope that all these donations will be beneficial in helping control the virus from spreading even further.
