The girl group Dreamcatcher is drawing a big attention due to its fast growth, breaking its own record of music video (MV) views on YouTube since the release of its new album.
According to the group’s agency Dreamcatcher Company, the MV of “Scream” (the lead single of Dreamcatcher’s first full album Dystopia : The Tree of Language) surpassed 3.5 million views on YouTube in nearly 36 hours since its release last Tuesday (Feb. 18, KST). It’s the shortest time on record of the MV views since the group’s debut in 2017.
Dreamcatcher is also producing great results on the worldwide music charts. Dystopia : The Tree of Language topped the Album charts on iTunes in 8 countries and entered Top 10 rankings on the same charts in 25 countries shortly after its release on Feb. 18. In the case of the domestic charts, the 11 tracks of the album entered Top 100 ranks on Bugs, one of the Korean major music streaming services. We wish Dreamcatcher keep standing for K-Pop as well as other groups!
