Sandara Park Debuts For Musicals Through “Another Miss Oh”

Former 2NE1 member Sandara Park has joined the cast of the brand-new musical Another Miss Oh, receiving expectations as a rookie musical actress.

Sandara’s agency YG Entertainment recently revealed that she won a major role of so-called ‘Ddoh Hae-young (it’s her nickname and Ddoh means ‘again’ in korean)’, one of the two heroines and ex-fiancé of the lead male. The Musical Another Miss Oh is a remake of the same-titled television drama, which aired 18 episodes via tvN channel in 2016. It is a story about a man and two women― both girls officially share the same name ‘Oh Hae-young’.

Sandara also gave her impression about this challenge. “I’m used to standing on the stages, but feeling totally new because musicals are different from concerts. This unpaved road makes me so excited.” She added proudly. “Most people never forgets whatever they do first and neither do I thanks to Another Miss Oh. It feels like running into my first love.”

The musical Another Miss Oh opens on March. Its numbers consist of the existing TV series’ OST tracks (probably rearranged for musical shows) and the original ones, which are newly composed for this show.

We hope Sandara succeed as a musical star, too!
