Director Hwang Da Seul, known for her hit web dramas like To My Star and Where Your Eyes Linger, is back with a brand new film premiering at the 28th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN).
Titled Let Free the Curse of Taekwondo, the film marks her first project in two years. It’s a story about two young men: Shin Ju Young (played by Lee Seon), a taekwondo prodigy, and Lee Do Hoe (Kim Nu Rim), who dreams of leaving the sport behind. They meet at 18 but a misunderstanding tears them apart. Twelve years later, fate brings them back together as adults.
Titled Let Free the Curse of Taekwondo will screen twice in the festival’s Merry-Go-Round section. Fans can also look forward to a Q&A session with Director Hwang and the cast after the screenings.
