BTS member V shared his last moments with his fans before he enlisted for mandatory military service.
On December 11th, V posted a photo on his social media with the message, “I’m going first. See you tomorrow.” Jungkook can be seen with his brand new haircut in the video call snapshot shared by V.
V entered the Nonsan Training Center in South Chungcheong Province today to undergo basic military training. He applied for a special forces unit under the Army Capital Defense Command, according to multiple reports.
Jungkook also surprised fans with a Weverse livestream on December 8th but did not reveal his new buzz-cut hair during the live session. The excitement around Jungkook’s shaved look is now attracting attention through V’s post.
According to Big Hit Music, RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook will be enlisting as active-duty soldiers. The agency stated, “Due to safety precautions to prevent accidents caused by overcrowding on-site, we sincerely request fans to refrain from visiting the site. We ask for warm support and encouragement towards the members with your hearts.”
Jimin and Jungkook are scheduled to enlist together on December 12th.
