BTS member V and BLACKPINK’s Jennie are once again in the spotlight, this time with rumors circulating about their alleged breakup.
On the 6th, JTBC reported that V and Jennie recently decided to end their romantic relationship. Both their agencies, HYBE and YG Entertainment, have yet to make any official statements, maintaining the silence they have held since the beginning of their dating rumors.
The dating rumors initially surfaced from an alleged date on Jeju Island in May of last year. Photos captured what appeared to be V and Jennie enjoying time together, further fueling speculation. Subsequent incidents included leaked photos in August, with YG Entertainment hinting at legal action against the invasion of privacy.
In May of this year, reports of the two enjoying a date in Paris emerged, though both agencies continued to deny the relationship. Now, as breakup rumors circulate, fans eagerly await an official response from V and Jennie. Unfortunately, whether in love or separation, the duo has maintained a policy of not addressing such speculations.
Meanwhile, the timing of the breakup news coincides with BLACKPINK’s group contract renewal announcement, potentially affecting the spotlight on the group’s long-awaited contract renewal. On a separate note, V is scheduled to enlist at the Nonsan Army Training Center in Chungnam on December 11th, specifically applying for the special forces unit under the Capital Defense Command.
