LOONA performed their first-ever Japanese concert as an 11-member group, excluding Chuu who departed from the group last year.
On March 3rd, the act hosted their first-ever Japanese concert, LOONA 1st Live ‘LOONATHEWORLD in TOKYO, at Tachikawa Stage Garden in Japan.
Starting off the concert with “So What,” the members showed their excitement by exclaiming, “We’re finally here in Tokyo.” They also showcased their Japanese tracks such as “Star Seed,” “HULA HOOP,” and “LUMINOUS.”
After concluding their concert, the group expressed their gratitude, saying, “We are extremely grateful to our Japanese fans who have been waiting for us for a long time. LOONA will continue to move forward. We apologize for making you wait so long.”
The concert was reportedly held based on the exclusive contact between the group and their Japanese agency Universal Japan, regardless of HeeJin, Kim Lip, JinSoul, and Choerry winning the lawsuit against their agency Blockberry Creative for an injunction to suspend the validity of their exclusive contract. Reports say that Universal Japan told the members they will keep supporting their Japanese activities.
