[Weekly TV Top 10] Song Joong Ki’s Dark Hero Series ‘Vincenzo’ Lands on No. 1 For the First Time

Which series will be the next The Penthouse? After receiving an unprecedented amount of popularity, tvN’s Vincenzo replaced the No. 1 place of SBS’s The Penthouse 2 for now. However, new shows, including Taxi Driver, Sell Your Haunted House, Law School, UnderCover, and Dark Hole, will kick off in April. Thus we look forward to what the viewers’ choices will be. Let’s take a look at which programs have gained a high popularity rate for the past week.

Drama Ranking for the Second Week of April

tvN’s Vincenzo rose to first place with a constant attention rate given to the show’s unexpected twists in the plot and ending scene. Song Joong Ki’s transformations in each episode are making headlines. In episode 15, he turned as a shaman, Yeo Rim, and in episode 16, he turned into an appalling character. With his duality, he landed in the first place for the talk of the internet. JTBC’s Sisyphus: The Myth and Beyond Evil received a contrasting set of responses as the prior was known to have a bright start and a blunt end, while the latter had a promising beginning and a wonderful ending. Each of them ended up in second and fourth place, respectively. SBS’s new show that followed The Penthouse 2, Taxi Driver, also started smoothly with excellent viewer ratings and popularity. However, the public criticized it for its level of violence.
