An individual related to the industry informed Sports Chosun on the 9th that Park Min Young and Song Kang will be joining JTBC’s new drama Office Romance Atrocities (literal title) as lead actors.
As an upcoming office melodrama about those who work at the National Weather Service, Office Romance Atrocities is to depict their work and love which is hotter than tropical nights and as unforeseeable as heavy rains. The cheerful love story of people who break, fall, yet get up again and grow together is to be illustrated.
Park Min Young will be playing the general forecaster of Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA), Jin Ha Kyung, as a character who is smart and aces everything she does. She is an elite who passed the fifth-grade civil service exam at one go. However, this seemingly perfect character does not get along too well with others as she is known to be strict on relationships, draw lines, and follow rules.
Meanwhile, Song Kang will be appearing as Lee Si Woo, who is loved by everyone, like his name which means ‘a rain that knows its right time.’ Growing up in a farmer’s family with open skies and wide fields, he knows how to be generous. While he may seem clumsy and somehow sloppy, he has an IQ level of a whopping 150. He is in charge of the KMA’s Second Division for General Affairs.
Office Romance Atrocities (literal title) is a new work led by the same producer who produced When the Camellia Blooms, Cha Young Hoon.
