As of yesterday, it appears BLACKPINK’s verified Spotify pages were hacked, leaving behind unusual photos, racist slurs, sexually suggestive comments, and other odd posts.
Fans and listeners of BLACKPINK were shocked to see Rosé‘s official page and the group’s page were hacked. The taglines in the bio were changed to say “I’m using my Rosé toy” on Rosé’s page, and the group bio read, “N**** queens except jisoo slay.” Their official photo was also changed to girl group KISS OF LIFE with photos from member Julie’s hip-hop live stream birthday party concept, which went viral for being deemed racist and culturally insensitive. The use of racial slurs, curses, and photo changes left fans completely angered, while others found the scenario ridiculous and hilarious. See the photos below.
The post gained traction all over Twitter as of yesterday, with fans checking their pages to see if the bios were actually real or edited. As of today, the bios are still unchanged, and fans left comments saying “Omg, is this real?” and “Wow, I checked it is still there.” According to fan comments, even their YouTube was hacked and changed; however, there were currently no visible signs of their other social media being tampered with.
