Following the tragic passing of actor Song Jae Rim, it has come to light that he was allegedly harassed by a persistent Japanese stalker fan. The fan, identified only as A, is reported to have posted defamatory content about Song and his close circle on X (formerly Twitter) since April, revealing private information and targeting family members.
A reportedly posted unedited photos of Song’s family members and slanderous comments, even tagging posts related to Song’s musical The Rose of Versailles with hostile messages. In one such post, A stated, “He dedicates fan gifts to [name],” and remarked, “Who would turn their attention to such a dull and bad actor?”
Upon news of Song’s passing on November 12th, A swiftly deactivated their account. As of the 13th, attempts to access the account return only an “error” message.
Song Jae Rim was found deceased at his home in Seoul on November 12th, discovered by a friend who had planned to meet him for lunch. A note was found at the scene, and his wake is being held at Seoul’s St. Mary’s Hospital in Yeouido. The funeral is scheduled for November 14th at noon.
Song, who debuted in 2009 with the film Actresses, gained popularity through the dramas Moon Embracing the Sun and Our Gap-soon. His final project, Queen Woo, is set to be his last appearance.

His agency was not aware about the issue? He should have gone to authorities. But there’s probably more than an obsessed fan. May he rest in heaven
What is wrong with people that they have to do harm to others? Too much meanness in this world.
