As expected, BTS member Jin is breaking records and achieving new feats with his thrilling world tour. American fans flooded the stadium seats and people are saying even the Cowboys love BTS.
Jin’s tour #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR, ongoing since June 28th and concluding on August 10th, found major success in Texas. Jin held his first Dallas concert at the American Airlines Center on the 22nd and captivated the hometown of the Dallas Cowboys. It was, yet again, another completely sold-out stadium.
Jin’s beauty, superb vocals, and never-ending energy brought out the enthusiastic cheers of American Army fans. His special live set was trending online due to his spectacular fan service, and many fans commented on how natural he seemed on the American stage. TouringAsiaPop’s official site even announced that ‘King Seok Jin’ has achieved a new record: both of his shows were completely sold out, making it the most sold-out show at the American Airlines Center ever.
According to TouringAsiaPop, Ticketmaster always releases additional tickets at the last minute to secure more tickets than the capacity. However, all the seats were sold out in advance, so there were no chances to snag a spot. Pop Core also celebrated the feat and tweeted, “JIN never fails to prove his selling-out power.”
The Dallas Cowboys showed their appreciation for the Korean star by giving Jin a specially made Cowboys hat, a custom Dallas Stars Ice hockey team uniform with ‘JIN 1’ marked on it, and welcomed Jin by lighting the sky purple near the stadium. Jin adorned both gifts during his sound check and concert performances.
Jin continues to write history and change the music scene in both America and Korea with his various achievements. Jin already sold out shows in Korea as soon as ticketing began, as well as in Japan. Jin will be departing for Tampa and Newark this week, a part of his tour list including 18 concerts in 9 different cities. Other cities include London (where Jin is notably the first Asian solo artist to tour at the O2 Arena), England, Amsterdam and Netherlands.
