Netflix has unveiled the final trailer for Squid Game Season 3, bringing the global phenomenon to its long-awaited climax.

Season 3 of Squid Game centers on Gi Hun (Lee Jung Jae), who’s returned to the deadly competition with his own mission—only to lose his closest friend in the process. As he spirals between guilt and vengeance, the story also follows the reappearance of the enigmatic Front Man (Lee Byung Hun), who once hid his identity as a participant but now stands fully revealed.

The just-released trailer serves as a sweeping recap of the series’ arc—from Season 1 to 2, and now the final act—highlighting the emotional and thematic core that has driven the story. Lines like Geum Ja’s (Kang Ae Sim) “Are you blaming yourself for everything that has happened?” and Sae Byeok’s (Jung Ho Yeon) “Don’t do it. You’re not that kind of person” reveal that Season 3 will see Gi Hun caught in an internal turmoil of self-blame and regret.

Additionally, Geum Ja’s words “I still believe that you came here to save us all” raise questions about whether Gi Hun, who returned to destroy the cruel games but failed in his rebellion, will finally be able to end all of Squid Game’s atrocities once and for all.

The trailer also spotlights the Front Man (Lee Byung Hun), who participated as contestant Young Il in Season 2. Now back in his role as overseer, his path directly collides with Gi Hun’s—setting the stage for a long-awaited confrontation between two men on opposite sides of morality. As Geum Ja’s dialogue reveals: “Bad people do bad things, but they blame others and go on to live in peace. Good people, on the other hand, beat themselves up about the smallest things,” Season 3 promises to complete the series’ overarching message about human nature.

Meanwhile, scenes of participants taking part in the twisted version of “jump rope” game hint at the even more brutal competitions that await in the upcoming season.

The last chapter of the globally beloved series streams worldwide on Netflix starting June 27th.
