Kim Woo Bin is once again spreading warmth and goodwill through a charitable act.
He will participate as a special audio guide narrator for the upcoming exhibition “Katherine Bernhardt: Some of All My Work”, opening on June 6th at the Hangaram Art Museum in Seoul Arts Center.
This exhibition is the largest-ever retrospective of American contemporary artist Katherine Bernhardt, offering a glimpse into her bold and striking artistic world. It will feature approximately 140 works, including paintings and sculptures, such as her renowned “Supermodel Series”, which made a major impact on the New York art scene in the 2000s, as well as newly created large-scale works made especially for the Korean show. Around 30 of these works will be accompanied by Kim Woo Bin’s narration.
Kim Woo Bin is set to deliver Bernhardt’s quirky and vibrant art, known for blurring the lines between pop culture and contemporary art, through his signature warm and comforting voice. His narration is expected to help visitors understand the artworks from a fresh perspective with friendly yet insightful explanations.
Moreover, Kim Woo Bin is donating his talent for this audio guide, and a portion of the exhibition’s proceeds will be donated to support children with cancer. Since 2014, Kim Woo Bin has been steadily involved in charitable giving for 11 years, and this is yet another heartfelt contribution.
Meanwhile, he is set to return later this year in the Netflix series Genie, Make a Wish, starring alongside Suzy.
