Kim Bora broke her silence just one day after news of her divorce from director Jo Ba Reun made headlines.
The SKY Castle star posted a simple caption, “The end,” alongside a carousel of photos from the 26th Jeonju International Film Festival. The images include behind-the-scenes snaps in her dressing room, a cue sheet from the closing ceremony where she served as an MC, glimpses from the afterparty, and peaceful outdoor views. In the final photo, a piece of paper with the handwritten phrase “We were happy” added a quietly emotional note to the update.
Kim and director Jo Ba Reun announced their amicable divorce on the 9th. The couple met while working on the horror film Ghost Mansion in 2021, dated for three years, and married on June 8th of last year. Their marriage lasted 11 months before they decided to part ways.
Kim’s agency, Noon Company, released a simple statement: “We sincerely apologize for sharing such news with everyone who has supported them. After thoughtful consideration and many conversations, they mutually agreed to divorce amicably. All procedures have been completed.”
