Girls’ Generation’s Yoona has once again touched hearts with her kindness on set.
OSEN reported on April 22 that Yoona gifted high-end massagers to the entire crew of her upcoming tvN drama, The Tyrant’s Chef. The thoughtful gifts reportedly cost her around 30 million KRW (approximately $21,000 USD).
What made the gesture even more special was that Yoona included handwritten letters with each gift. In her note, she wrote, “I prepared this with the hope that it will help relieve some of your fatigue so we can make it to the end together. Let’s stay healthy and keep going strong. Yoona is cheering for you!”

She signed the message with the name of her character in the drama, Yeon Ji Young, showing her affection and dedication to the project.
This isn’t the first time Yoona has gone the extra mile to appreciate her colleagues. She gave gifts and heartfelt letters to staff on the sets of Hush, King the Land, and the film Pretty Crazy.
Yoona is set to return to the small screen later this year in The Tyrant’s Chef, a fantasy romance based on a popular web novel. The drama follows a celebrated French chef who time-travels to the Joseon Dynasty and becomes entangled with a tyrannical king through her fusion royal cuisine. Yoona plays Yeon Ji Young, a talented chef who lands in Joseon right after winning an international cooking competition and must navigate palace life with her culinary skills.
