Manager Sisters
Older sisters guide the careers of aspiring trot singers in this fun musical program. Five singers deal with hardship and ultimate victory on their journey as rookies in the business. The older sisters are big fans of trot and are proud fans of up-and-comers Tey, Seo Woo Hyeok, Jung Yoon Jae, Shohei, and Im Chae Pyeong. The TV Chosun series is hosted by Lee Young Ja, Kim Sook, and Song Eun Yi.
Running Man
South Korea’s longest-running variety show continues to keep viewers entertained on the SBS television network. After premiering in July 2010, hosts and celebrity contestants play competitive games to win prizes and avoid harmless punishments. This year, they played snakes and ladders, futsal, and even produced a debut single. CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa, Lee Dae Hee, and Son Na Eun have made many appearances on Running Man. Yoo Jae Suk, Haha, Kim Jong Kook, Song Ji Hyo, and more host the popular series.
Culinary Class Wars
Nothing says Thanksgiving like a Netflix cooking show. Culinary Class Wars illustrates delicious Korean and international dishes prepared by top chefs and underdog cooks. The 100 contestants take on food challenges while being judged by famed veteran chef Paik Jong Won and South Korea’s Michelin three-star chef, Anh Sung Jae. The ultimate prize is close to a quarter of a million dollars.
