Korean musical actress Jeong Sun Ah expressed her surprise at BTS member V’s striking presence, noting how handsome he is in person.
KBS Cool FM’s Lee Eunji’s Gayo Plaza featured Jeong Sun Ah, currently starring in Chicago, along with Seo Kyung Soo performing in Kinky Boots on the 20th. The two showcased their vibrant conversation skills during the show.
DJ Lee Eun Ji remarked, “I saw Jeong Sun Ah on social media, and I’m so jealous,” referring to the recent moment when Korean singer Park Hyo Shin and BTS’s V took a photo with her after watching a performance in Chicago.
Jeong Sun Ah shared, “I performed with Hyo Shin in The Man Who Laughs, so I think he came to see the show because of the cast. But he didn’t tell me he was coming; he worked hard to get tickets.” She added, “Lee Sung Kyoung was there that day as well. I was so surprised. Seeing Hyo Shin after such a long time was really nice.”
She continued, “I couldn’t recognize V when I saw him in person because he was so handsome. At first, he wore a mask, and even after he took it off, I still didn’t recognize him. He’s just that good-looking. We were so busy taking photos that we hardly went home that day,” which elicited laughter from the audience.
Recently, Jeong Sun Ah stirred up excitement by sharing a photo with V and Park Hyo Shin. In the picture, V and Jeong Sun Ah stand side by side, giving a thumbs-up and peace signs while winking at the camera.
She also expressed her fan enthusiasm, saying, “I might just become an ARMY myself.” Meanwhile, V enlisted in December last year and currently serves in the military police special operations unit, with an expected discharge date in June 2025.
The musical Chicago, in which Jeong Sun Ah is currently performing, is the longest-running musical in Broadway history as of 2024.
