The chase-action thriller The Tyrant has taken the streaming world by storm, generating an explosive response just hours after its August 14th release. The series, which follows the chaos that ensues when the final sample of the “Tyrant Program” goes missing, quickly captured the attention of viewers.
The Tyrant, which dropped all episodes yesterday, quickly climbed to second place on FlixPatrol’s overall ranking of Disney Plus content as of August 15th. The series also showcased the strength of K-content by ranking 8th in Hong Kong and 6th in Taiwan. Additionally, The Tyrant dominated Kinolights, a domestic OTT search and recommendation platform, claiming the top spot as of today, surpassing numerous other films and series.
Viewers who binged the entire series in one sitting were quick to share their glowing reviews.
