Yoo Ah In will be summoned for questioning by the police on allegations of sexual assault.
The police informed Yonhap News on July 26 that a person identified as A had filed a sexual assault complaint against Yoo Ah In. Under current law, allegations of sexual assault between same-sex individuals fall under the category of quasi-rape. Korea’s criminal code defines quasi-rape as the act of having sexual intercourse with another person by taking advantage of their unconscious state or inability to resist. The police stated, “We haven’t contacted the accused yet. We plan to summon him for questioning soon.” Additionally, a preliminary drug test on the complainant came back negative.
A claimed that he was sexually assaulted by Yoo Ah In while sleeping in an officetel in Yongsan District on July 14. An officetel is designed to be a partially self-contained building, such that its occupants can live and work in the same building, minimizing commute time. He reportedly became aware of it upon waking and claimed that other men were present at the scene. The place in question is not the residence of either Yoo Ah In or A.
Given that the star is currently on trial for habitual drug use, the police are also considering the possibility that he committed the crime while under the influence of drugs on the day of the incident.
However, the actor has denied the allegations. His legal representative, lawyer Bang Jung Hyun, stated on July 26 that “the allegations against Yoo Ah In are false” and requested that “unnecessary speculation regarding his private life be avoided.”

Are you kidding me? Just because you cant get him on drug case here u are presenting an0ther case and quasi rape at that? Omg what’s happening in the world.
Too ah in is not a rapist .stop accusing him for what he didn’t do .the 4years imprisonment is to much , was drugs not ment for humans to consumed even though is wrong to over do it , he must have his reasons for taking them so the 4years should be reduced
Question: why did the complaintant come forward now, just weeks before YAI’s sentencing hearing for using registered, prescribed pharmacueticals used to treat pain, sleep deprivation and depression?
