Riding high on the success of tvN’s Queen of Tears, Kim Soo Hyun charmed fans again with his natural curls during a live chat on the paid app Bubble.
It was his first time going live on the platform, and he appeared a bit nervous. “Hello everyone,” he began with a slightly awkward smile. “This is Kim Soo Hyun. I’m just wrapping things up in Thailand and heading back to Korea.”
He chuckled as he continued, “I’m safely at the airport lounge now.” Laughing again, he admitted, “Live sessions are tougher than they look.”
He then expressed his gratitude to fans, saying, “Thanks to your support, the first fan meeting went off without a hitch. I truly appreciate it. I’ll do my best for the second and third ones too. Thank you all for always being there for me.”
Covering his mouth with a shy laugh, he said, “Guess it’s time for me to catch my flight back to Korea. See you all later.” He gave a final wave goodbye to the camera.

But it wasn’t just his words that caught fans’ attention. Kim Soo Hyun’s natural curls became a surprise hit. Fans couldn’t help but adore his natural curly hair, with comments like “Those curls are just too cute!”, “He looks like a shy, fluffy poodle” and “I think it’s so cute to think that he turned on the camera after preparing his mind, clearing his voice, and fixing his curly hair.” Others expressed disbelief at the chance to interact with him directly, saying things like “Can you believe we just saw Kim Soo Hyun do a live chat? It feels surreal!”
Meanwhile, Kim Soo Hyun just wrapped up the Bangkok leg of his 2024 Asia Tour “EYES ON YOU.” The tour continues in Yokohama on June 22nd and 23rd, Manila on June 29th, Taipei on July 6th, Hong Kong on August 10th and Jakarta on September 7th.
Kim Soo Hyun is known to have been born with naturally curly hair.
