In the 2024 Spring edition released on April 12th, Dazed Korea magazine unveiled an enchanting new cover and feature spread starring BLACKPINK member Rosé, done in collaboration with the premium travel brand Rimowa. The singer discussed the significance of travel and home, showcasing her role as a global ambassador for Rimowa’s “Never Still” campaign.
The photo shoot, set against a backdrop reminiscent of Miami’s romantic vistas, captured Rosé in a captivating and iconic pose alongside Rimowa suitcases. Speaking about the challenges of the shoot, Rosé admitted, “Initially, it was hard to imagine. I haven’t seen many photo shoots with suitcases, so I tried to clear my head of those thoughts as much as possible.”.
In the interview, Rosé spoke about the new mint and papaya colors of the Rimowa suitcases featured on the cover, expressing her affection for the hues: “The combination of mint and papaya just seems prettier and cuter, especially under the sun-drenched seaside setting like Miami, these colors truly come to life.”
Having spent eight years traveling the globe as a member of the leading girl group BLACKPINK, Rosé reflected on the need for a break. “I’ve really been running hard all this time. I felt the need to pause, to regain my momentum,” she said. She also mentioned her desire to understand more about herself, “I’ve been thinking a lot about allowing myself some rest, trusting in myself without too much doubt, and just waiting it out.”
Rosé, who graces the blooming spring cover of Dazed Korea, shared a motto fitting for her bright future, “If I had something to say to myself, it would just be, ‘Wait.’ Learning to wait. Wait and see! It’s something I think I’ll be telling myself more often.”
