On March 22nd, Jang Da A took to Instagram to express her gratitude toward the fans for their overwhelming support. “I sincerely thank everyone who hated and feared the bad girl Ha Rin. It was exactly what I wanted to hear, and it has been a great support. I hope it became a memorable work for everyone who sent their loving support. Goodbye, ‘Pyramid Game’!” Jang Da A shared, reflecting on her role in the much-discussed TVING original series Pyramid Game.
Despite having opened her social media account only just the day before, Jang Da A quickly proved her burgeoning popularity by amassing over 170,000 followers in less than a day. Known as the older sister of IVE’s Jang Wonyoung, Jang Da A had already been a topic of interest even before her debut, appearing in various commercials and captivating audiences with her presence.
In Pyramid Game, Jang Da A delivered a riveting performance as Baek Ha Rin, a character whose sinister undertones come to the forefront as she maneuvers against Sung Su Ji’s (Kim Ji Yeon) attempts to dismantle the pyramid game. Her nuanced portrayal of Ha Rin’s chilling true nature, manipulating her peers with cold precision, brought a thrilling tension to the drama, marking a successful acting debut.
Meanwhile, TVING original series Pyramid Game released its final episodes 9 and 10 on March 21st, concluding the story that has captivated viewers and introduced them to a promising new talent in Jang Da A.
