Jungkook, a member of the global K-pop group BTS, is confirmed to be serving as a cook in the military.
The BTS star is currently carrying out his duties as a cook after completing his basic military training, according to music industry and military sources yesterday. He enlisted in the army on December 13th, 2023, alongside fellow BTS member Jimin.
Jungkook took to the fan community platform Weverse on March 16th to update fans on his military life. He wrote, “I’m doing well. I’m working hard on exercising. I’m also very good at cleaning, even up to the ceiling.” He added, “Plus, I’ve been cooking for the crew.”
Even before enlisting, Jungkook had showcased his cooking skills through various platforms such as Weverse and his personal live broadcasts, where he shared his own recipes for dishes like pasta and Korean cold noodles.
