The entertainment world is abuzz with the possibility of Han So Hee and Ryu Jun Yeol starring together in director Han Jae Rim’s new project, Delusion.

On March 6th, Han So Hee’s agency, 9ato Entertainment, confirmed, “‘Delusion’ is one of the projects that Han So Hee has been offered and is currently under consideration.” Similarly, Ryu Jun Yeol’s agency, C-JeS Studio, gave a similar answer that the actor is also “considering positively.”

Delusion is set to be the latest work from hitmaker Han Jae Rim, known for directing acclaimed films like Emergency Declaration, The Face Reader, and The King. The project is based on the Naver webtoon, serialized from 2019 to 2020, set in 1935 Gyeongseong and 1800s Shanghai. It tells a mysterious thriller romance about a painter commissioned to paint a portrait of a mesmerizing vampire woman, only to find himself ensnared by her charm.

The potential collaboration between Han So Hee, who became the leading actress of the millennial set starting with The World of the Married, and Han Jae Rim is highly anticipated. This could mark their first project together. Ryu Jun Yeol has previously worked with Han on The King and the upcoming Netflix series The 8 Show. Fans are curious if Delusion will mark their third collaboration.

If both actors are confirmed, the chemistry they create on-screen will undoubtedly be a focal point of interest.

Meanwhile, Showbox owns Delusion as their original IP, with discussions open for adaptation into both a series and a film.
