Cha Eun Woo guested on the February 23rd episode of KBS 2TV’s The Seasons – Lee Hyori’s Red Carpet and showcased various stages along with stories about his first solo mini album Entity.
On this day, Cha Eun Woo surprised everyone with a stage where he perfectly reinterpreted Lee Hyori’s “Ten Minutes” in his own style. He also learned the choreography directly from the original singer, Lee Hyori, which further heated up the atmosphere on set.
This was followed by a story about his first solo album Entity. Cha Eun Woo said, “I wanted to honestly express what I’ve felt so far. It’s a precious album that I put my heart into,” and “Since I like writing, I participated in the songwriting of all the songs on this album.”
He also said, “I took my time to prepare, and I did it with sincerity. I didn’t want to come across as being obsessed with results. That’s why I didn’t promote this new album so much. Last year was a difficult year for me personally. I had a hard time and cried a lot, but I was also proud of myself while preparing the album.”
He elaborated, “I took my time and prepared with sincerity. I wanted to avoid seeming obsessed with results, which is why I held back on promoting this album.” His voice softened as he continued, “Last year was a difficult year for me.” He paused briefly, apologizing, “Sorry, I…” before continuing, “I went through a tough time, cried a lot, but also felt immense pride while preparing the album I had to carry this with me. It’s not easy to say I’m okay, but I believe things will improve if I keep putting in my best effort. So, I’ll work harder.”
